In these posts, I'm gonna give you some example sentences and exercises using verbs from previous my post.
Let's practice together :)
- to do する(suru)
- to have 持つ(motu)
- to make 作る(tsukuru)
- to say, tell 言う(iu)
- to speak 話す(hanasu)
- to go 行く(iku)
- to see, look, 見る(miru)
- to give 与える(ataeru)、あげる(ageru)

*Let me give you a tip first. :)
Some verbs could be used as a noun.
I'm gonna call it 動詞の名詞化. (do not have to memorise this)
It's quite simple.
Just attach こと after verb.
verb + こと
すること[n] doing
話すこと[n] speaking
e.g.
英語を話すこと は とても楽しいです。
Speaking English is very fun for me.
It's easy, isn't it? :)
I made a conjugation table below just in case.
I can't use an excel tho.XD

1.する (to do)
・休みの日はどんなことをしますか？ What do you do on your day off?
・私はよくブレイクダンスをします。I often do a break dance.
2. 持つ (to have)
・私は４０個以上のベースボールキャップを持っています。I have more than 40 baseball caps.
*Here is a tip. Verb To Have expresses that you're always having somethig(noun). Therefore even if it's present tense form we say 持っています。.
3.作る (to make)
・私の趣味はケーキを作ることです。My hobby is making(baking) cake.
*You can say ケーキを焼くこと(baking cake) but ケーキを作ること or ケーキ作り sound more natural in Japanese.
4.言う (to say)
・友達は私が間違っていると言いました。My friend said that I'm wrong.
・私の母はいつも、「あなたが一番よ」と私に言います。My mum always says to me you're the number 1.
5.話す (to speak)
・ 私は話すことが苦手です。 I'm not good at speaking.
・大きな声で話していただけませんか？ Could you please speak loudly?
・彼は口ごもって話します(しゃべります). He speaks in a mumble.
*話す could be replaced with しゃべる (casual).
6.行く (to go)
・ロンドンには二回行ったことがあります。 (I've) been to London twice.
・学校に行きたくない。マジで。 I don't wanna go to school. Seriously.
・母は毎日お買い物に行きます。 My mum goes to shopping everyday.
7.見る (to see, to look, to watch)
・これ見て！ Look at this!
・今の(あれ)見た？ Did you see that?
・誰かに見られている気がする(´・ω・) I feel someone watching me.
・イルカを見たことはありますか？ Have you ever seen a dolphin.
8.あげる (to give)
・去年のクリスマス、彼女に指輪をあげました。 I gave her a ring last Christmas.
*Here is a tip. In passive sentence, To be given or someone gave me are translated as くれる/くれた.
・彼女は財布をくれました。 She gave me a wallet.
・あなたのアドバイスをください。 Please give me your advise.
9.知る (to know)
・私は次に何が起こるか知っている。 I know what's gonna happen next.
*Again. Verb To Know is the same as To Have. Your knowledge is not just at this moment. You're keeping your knowledge so even if it's present tense it's translated as continuous form.
・日本について何を知っていますか？ What do you know about Japan?
・タバコが体に悪いことは知っています。 I know that cigarette is not good for my health.
*By the way, Tobacco is not common in Japan. And we call sigarette 'tobacco'. I don't know why tho. So タバコ means a sigarette in Japan. Strange.(´・ω・)
・知らなかった。 (I) didn't know (it).
10.欲しい/したい (to want)
*In Japanese, To Want is not a verb. 欲しい is an adjective. Interesting.(´・ω・)
・私は車が欲しいです。 I want a car.
・私は犬より猫が欲しかったです。 I wanted a cat rather than a dog.
*Here is a tip. How to say want to verb is a bit complicated. I wrote about it in past my lesson. Please check it out. I wanna learn how to say 'want to verb'!
・私は日本語の勉強がしたいです。 I want to study Japanese language.
・私は海で泳ぎたいです。 I want to swim in the sea.

・I know that he is stupid. 私は彼がばかなのを（ ）。
・I gave her a teddy bear. 私は彼女にクマのぬいぐるみを（ ）。
・She gave me a can of beer. 彼女は私に缶ビールを（ ）。
・Have you ever seen a deer? 今までシカを（ ）がありますか？
・Will you go to school tomorrow? 明日は学校に（ ）？
・He doesn't speak at all. 彼は全く（ ）。
