Let's learn basic Kanji #28 level 3

Hello guys!
How's your Kanji goin'?
I know it bothers you.
But if you know at least basic Kanji you can enjoy more Japanese culture. :)
Just try to write each Kanji 2 or 3 times. It's enough.
Better than nothing. (/・ω・)/
 By the way, Meaning is a mere example. When Kanji is used with other Kanji together that meaning is also changed.
For example, 花 means flower, 火 means fire. However 花火 means fireworks.

係　音: ・ケイ　　　　　　　　　訓:・かか(る)・かかわ(る)・かかり
                Meaning: 'in charge'

Example sentence:わたしはパーティーの準備係になりました。/Watashi wa party no junbi gakari ni narimasita.
                                 (I was put in charge of arrangement for the party.)
*受付係(うけつけがかり)[n] a receptionist
  ホテルの受付係(ほてるのうけつけがかり)[n] a reception clerk
  教育係(きょういくがかり)[n] trainer
  雑用係(ざつようがかり)[n] choreman

軽　音: ・ケイ　　　　　　　　　訓:・かる(い)
                Meaning: 'light (weight)'

Example sentence:軽い箱と重い箱。/Karui hako to omoi hako.
                                 (Light box and heavy box.)
*軽自動車(けいじどうしゃ)[n] light vehicle, small car, minicar
  軽作業(けいさぎょう)[n] light work, easy work


血　音: ・ケツ　　　　　　　　　訓:・ち
                Meaning: 'blood'

Example sentence:手首から血が流れる。/Tekubi kara chi ga nagareru.
                                 (Blood flows from my wrist.)
鼻血(はなぢ)[n] nosebleed
血液(けつえき)[n] blood
血液型(けつえきがた)[n] blood type



決　音: ・ケツ　　　　　　　　　訓:・き(まる)・き(める)
                Meaning: 'decide'

Example sentence:日本に行くことを決めました。/Nihon ni iku kotowo kimemashita.
                                 (I decided to go to Japan.)
*決める(きめる)[v] to decide
  決めつける(きめつける)[v] to assume


研　音: ・ケン　　　　　　　　　訓:・と(ぐ)・みが(く)
                Meaning: 'sharpen''whet''grind'

Example sentence:包丁を研ぐのは難しいです。/Houchou wo togunowa muzukasii desu.
                                 (It is difficult to sharpen knives.)
包丁(ほうちょう)[n] kitchen knife
研ぐ(とぐ)[v] to sharpen
難しい(むずかしい)[adj] difficult


県　音: ・ケン　　　　　　　　　訓:・あがた
                Meaning: 'prefecture'

Example sentence:日本には４３県あります。/Nihon niwa yon juu san ken arimasu.
                                 (There are 43 prefectures in Japan.)
埼玉県(さいたまけん)[n] Saitama prefecture
神奈川県(かながわけん)[n] Kanagawa prefecture
千葉県(ちばけん)[n] Chiba prefecture



庫　音: ・ク・コ　　　　　　　　　訓:・くら
                Meaning: 'warehouse''storehouse''cellar'

Example sentence:車庫の中では遊ぶな。/Shako no nakadewa asobuna.
                                 (Do not play in a garage.)
*車庫(しゃこ)[n] garage
  保管庫(ほかんこ)[n] storage
  倉庫(そうこ)[n]  warehouse, storehouse
  兵器庫(へいきこ)[n] armory
  薬品庫(やくひんこ)[n] chemical closet, medicine cabinet




湖　音: ・コ　　　　　　　　　訓:・みずうみ
                Meaning: 'lake'

Example sentence:今年の夏は家族と一緒に、湖のそばでキャンプをします。/Kotoshino natu wa kazoku to isshoni mizuumi no sobade kyanpu wo simasu.
                                 (I'll camp by the lake with my family this summer.)
*今年の夏(ことしのなつ)[adv] this summer
  家族(かぞく)[n] family
  一緒に(いっしょに)[adv][pre] together, with
  キャンプ(きゃんぷ)[n] camp


向　音: ・コウ　　　　　　　　　訓:・む(く)・むか(う)
                Meaning: 'direction'

Example sentence:駅は橋の向こう側です。/Eki wa hashi no mukou gawa desu.
                                 (The station is beyond the bridge.)
*駅(えき)[n] station
  橋(はし)[n] bridge
  向こう側[pre] beyond, over there


幸　音: ・コウ　　　　　　　　　訓:・さいわい・さち・しあわ(せ)
                Meaning: 'fortune''luck'

Example sentence:あなたに幸運を。/Anata ni kou unn wo.
                                 (Good luck to you.)
*幸運(こううん)[n] good luck, good fortune
