Hello everyone!
Today we'll talk about traditional meals in our own country.
What do you imagine about Japanese food?
As you would think, My favorite Japanese food is Sushi.
Sushi is well known around the world and when I visit other countries I try Sushi there.
Maki-zushi(rolled sushi) is famous overseas but Nigiri-zushi is common in Japan.
What kind of food and dish are famous in your country?
What do you recommend to foreigners?
Let's describe your favorite food and that flavor. :)

・Question.あなたの好きな食べ物は何ですか？(What is your favorite food?)
e.g.
わたしの好きな食べ物は、お寿司です。/My favorite food is Sushi.
（わたしのすきなたべものは、おすしです。）

特にアナゴの握り寿司が好きです。/Especially Eel Nigirizushi.
（とくにあなごのにぎりずしがすきです。）

アナゴの握りは、お醤油ではなく、ツメと呼ばれる甘いタレで食べます。/Eel Nigiri goes with sticky sweet sauce called Tsume instead of soy-sauce.
（あなごのにぎりは、おしょうゆではなく、つめとよばれるあまいたれでたべます。）

海外ではあまり一般的ではないので、日本に来たときは是非食べてみてください。/It's not common abroad so when you visit Japan I really recommend you to try it.

・Question.あなたの国では、どのような食べ物が一般的ですか？(What kind of food is common in your country?)
e.g.
日本では、料理を一品とお味噌汁をお米と一緒に食べるのが一般的です。/In Japan, it's common to eat a dish and miso-soup with rice.
（にほんでは、りょうりをいっぴんと　おみそしるを　おこめといっしょに　たべるのが　いっぱんてきです。）

その場合、その料理はおかずと呼ばれます。/In that case, that dish is called Okazu.
（そのばあい、そのりょうりは　おかず　とよばれます。）

例えば、一杯のご飯、焼き魚、お味噌汁の場合、焼き魚はおかずと言えます。/For example, a bowl of rice, grilled fish and miso-soup, in this case, grilled fish can be called Okazu.
（たとえば、いっぱいのごはん、やきざかな、おみそしる　のばあい、やきざかなは　おかずといえます。）

日本では、基本的にお米と一緒に食べるので、日本人は少し味の濃い料理を好む傾向があると思います。/In Japan, we basically eat dishes with rice so I think that Japanese people tend to prefer a little bit salty dishes.
（にほんでは、きほんてきにおこめと　いっしょにたべるので、にほんじんはすこしあじのこい　りょうりを　このむ　けいこうがある　とおもいます。）

 read these sentences below and answer the questions.

かのん君　　　「あー、お腹空いた。まなみちゃんは？」/Well, I'm getting hungry. How about you Manami?
まなみちゃん　「わたしも(>_<)　なにか食べに行かない？」/So am I :/  Would you like to go and have something to eat?
かのん君　　　「いいよ！何が食べたい？」/Yes! What do you feel like eating?
まなみちゃん　「んー、日本食の気分かなぁ( ^^) 」 /Umm, I feel like eating Japanese. :)
かのん君　　　「ぼくは、しょっぱいものが食べたいな！」/I want to eat something like salty!
