まずは、まわりのものを にほんごで なんというか きいて みましょう。//Let's ask how to say things around you in Japanese.
・これはなんですか？(Kore wa nan desu ka?) //What is this?
これは りんご です。(Kore wa ringo desu.) //This is an apple.
にほんごでは ふくすうのものでも たんすうで こたえることが できます。//In Japanese, you can answer as singular even if plural.
・これは にほんごで なんと いいますか？(Kore wa nihongo de nanto iimasu ka?) //What is this called in Japanese?
これは にほんごで えんぴつと いいます。(Kore wa nihongo de Enpitsu to iimasu.) //This is called Enpistu in Japanese.
これから おみせするしゃしんにうつっているものの たんごをいくつか ならべるので おぼえてみて ください。//I'll show you some pictures. Please try memorising these words beforehand.

Grammar 「～です。」
「～です。」は めいし と けいようし の げんざいけい と みらいけい につくことができます。//「～です」 could be attached to noun or adjective and used for expresses present tense and future tense.
For example,
It is an apple. それは、りんごです。
It is beautiful. それは、きれいです。
It is a beautiful apple. それは、きれいなりんごです。
